How we started
Founded in 1996, Lucky Pharmacy, known as Lucky Development Corp. or LDC, is the dream project of Founder Mr. Shankar Jhamnani and owner Mrs. Precious S. Jhamnani. It has grown into a leading pharmaceutical business conglomerate in Liberia and beyond. Guided by the mission of “Touching People’s Lives,” we provide quality healthcare services at affordable prices. With 27 years of experience, we operate 26 branches across Liberia, reaching communities in both urban and rural areas.

As the founder of Lucky Pharmacy, my dream has always been to ensure everyone has access to the medications they need. Witnessing the suffering during Liberia’s civil war ignited my passion to build a reliable source of quality healthcare at affordable prices. Starting small, we grew thanks to the dedication of our team and the support of local communities. Today, I am proud of our impact, and we remain committed to expanding our reach and services to improve the lives of even more people.
